ANCIENT WALES STUDIES
The papers we publish on this site have, unless otherwise noted, footnotes which support
factual genealogical claims which we have asserted. Where our source is one we seldom use, it is described as to author, title

following is a list of those abbreviations, grouped according to the type of the source:

(mostly
men and families of Southeast Wales)
PAC = "Pedigrees of Anglesey and Carnarvonshire Families", Charts by J.E. Griffith, 1914
(this
author presents family tree charts without providing any data showing his sources)
WG 300-1400 = Peter Bartrum's "Welsh Genealogies AD 300-1400", 8 volumes published 1974
