Exploring the Story of Carausius
Submitted by:
Dr John Pitts, MB, BS, MSc, PhD resides in Southampton,
U.K (but is currently in the process of moving back home to Wales where he was reared) and is a retired General Practitioner
and medical educationalist. Having always been interested in history, his attention fell upon a document which purported
to trace his fiancee's Family History back to the 14th century. During the 2020 COVID lockdown, he began his own research
of her ancestry. With the assistance of Darrell Wolcott and others, he concluded that project in December, 2020 by publishing
a 48 page booklet summarizing his findings. That work led to additional projects to explore some of the famous historical
figures whom he had met along his journey.
NOTICE
Dr John Pitts
has since published, in 2022, an historical novel "Rebellion - Carausius & Allectus, the Welshmen Who Stole the Roman
Empire". It is a 208 page softcover book available at Amazon and other booksellers.
